Before Leadership, Sam wrote for Daily Trust and was a member of the editorial Board of the paper. In my view that was the greatest moment in the history of a literary strides that became the foundation which gave rise to the institution that is today called the Leadership Group.

The day May 29th has been work free in Nigeria since the year 2000 when the then President Olusegun Obasanjo decided to tag it commemorative.

Early in the week, the former Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Mr. Stephen Oronsaye submitted a report to President Goodluck Jonathan in his capacity as the chairman of a committee earlier set up by Mr. President to look at the institutions of the executive state in relation to cost of governance.
