The judokas that will be representing Nigeria in France are Chukwuemeka Onyemachi +100kg, Justina Aghatayi 57kg, Enyiafe Solomon -60kg, and Franca Audu 48kg.
Speaking in an interview during the visit of the minister, Dr. Are stated that the championship will further expose and prepare the judokas for the game ahead noting that the World Championship is the apex competition.
According to him, the championship is aimed at further motivating the athletes and putting them in the right psychological frame of mind.

To further prepare judokas for the All African Games (AAG) which comes up next month, Coach Dickson Egbomwon will be leading Nigeria’s contingent to the World Judo Championship which is scheduled to commence at Paris in France from August 23, 2011. The Kaduna Zonal Camp Coordinator for the All Africa Games (AAG), Dr. Ademola Are disclosed this yesterday at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna while receiving and briefing the Minister of Sports Yusuf Suleiman who visited the country’s athletes camping for the quadrennial games in Kaduna.The judokas that will be representing Nigeria in France are Chukwuemeka Onyemachi +100kg, Justina Aghatayi 57kg, Enyiafe Solomon -60kg, and Franca Audu 48kg.
