The suit filed by Barrister Max Ozoaka of the Excellex Chambers said the disengagement of Siasia is a breach of contract, as he was signed on December 1, 2010 and urged the court to declare the action of the NFF null and void.
In the suit, Siasia asked the court to award him N5 million pocket expenses he incurred while managing the Super Eagles outside of the N1 billion damages.
Siasia’s lawyer is also challenging the legality of the football federation.
But a dependable source told Trustsports yesterday that the former Super Eagles midfielder has already directed his lawyer to withdraw the case, citing ill-advice as reasons for his rush court to seek redress.

Former Super Eagles Head Coach, Samson Siasia, will next week withdraw his case against the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) over alleged illegal sacking from court. The sacked coach last Tuesday filed a law suit at a Federal High Court in Abuja, demanding the sum of N1 billion as damages after he was dismissed by the Federation last Friday.He has asked the court to declare that the position of the Nigeria head coach is not vacant.
