The duo of Linus Adams and Sani Aruwa has signed for six-time Nigerian champions, Enyimba. Adams and Aruwa signed for the Peoples Elephant on Wednesday night from Kaduna United ahead of the 2011/2012 Nigeria Premier League (NPL).
Aruwa confirmed this to SuperSport.com on Thursday. The former Kaduna United playmaker expressed happiness at joining Enyimba after a fruitless search for a club in Europe.He added that he looks forward to working with the Enyimba setup.
“I’m happy to have signed for Enyimba, which is a very big club in Nigeria. I met with the chairman (Felix Anyansi-Agwu) who is a father to me.
“For me, I am looking forward to playing for the team in the new season and working with the players and coaches,” he said.
Adams and Aruwa both signed one-year deal each stay at the two-time African champions for the coming season.
