The statement said Mr. Caleb Gidado will serve as a Zonal Co-coordinator Jos. Dr. Ademola Are will head the Kaduna zone, while Stanley Okebugwu heads Enugu zone.
U.T Shua and Steve Olarinoye will oversee Bauchi and Ibadan, while Yemi Osikaye, Segun Akinlotan, Durotoye .A. Bode, Shehu Gusau, Peter Nelson, Dans Adokiye and Mohammed Tela will head the Benin, Port Harcourt, Minna, Sokoto, Nguru and Damaturu respectively.

As part of efforts to boost grassroots sports development in the country, the National Sports Commission (NSC) yesterday announced the reorganization of its workforce, with the posting of senior officers to head the zonal offices spread across the country. The NSC in a statement signed by its Director of Press, Mr. Tony Ohaeri said the new postings take immediate effect.Ohaeri also quoted the NSC Director General, Chief Patrick Ekeji as saying that by the posting, sports development activities aimed at the state and local government levels will be more effective and productive as the zones will now be adequately funded.
