The beach soccer clinic, with 80 kids drawn from schools in the FCT in attendance within the age of 10-16 years is been organised by Sports Solutions Limited.
“Basically, it is aimed at generating their interest in playing a new and exciting version of soccer, and Nigeria will be the best in the game in the near future following this programme,” he noted.
He also listed some of the benefits of the programme to include helping the kids to develop socially and physically.
The President of Nigeria Football Federation, Aminu Maigari commended the initiative of the organiser, saying the federation will look for areas of supporting the programme to make the event an annual one, stressing that the programme was in line with the youth development programme of the Federation.
This year’s edition includes the seminar for the games masters taking place at the FIFA Technical Centre of the Abuja National Stadium.

The Chairman of Sports Solutions Limited, Abdullahi Abubakar has said that Nigeria will in a near future become the best beach soccer-playing nation in the world if the current efforts by his organization to organize beach soccer for young Nigerians is supported and sustained. Abubakar, who was speaking at the opening ceremony for the maiden edition of the first FCT Kids Beach Soccer Clinic at Jabi Lake Park, explained that the programme was designed to teach children and youths the basics of beach soccer.The beach soccer clinic, with 80 kids drawn from schools in the FCT in attendance within the age of 10-16 years is been organised by Sports Solutions Limited.
