Meanwhile, the state g governor Adams Oshiomhole has called on Vice President Sambo to tell the people of the state what the party has done for the country in the last 10 years that it has been in power.
The governor, who threw the challenge during a campaign rally in Oredo local government area, said “we must ask Vice President Namadi Sambo when he comes to campaign for the PDP in Edo State what the party has done for the state. Ask the Vice President to go beyond the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium venue of the rally to show the people what they did in10 years.
“If they tell you what they will do in the future, they must tell you what they did in the past”, he noted.

Vice President Namadi Sambo will today lead the Peoples Democratic Party [PDP] on a campaign rally in Benin the Edo state capital. The state Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Arch Mathew Urhoghide who disclosed this to newsmen in Benin yesterday said the presence of the Vice President and the leadership of the party will further boost the chances of the party in winning the next governorship election coming up in July.He said over 1000members of the Action Congress of Nigeria [ACN] will take the opportunity to decamp to the PDP.
