Whitney Houston to sit down with Oprah

Two of the biggest names in show business, daytime talk empress Oprah and fallen pop diva Whitney Houston, will meet in September for Houston’s first interview in 7 years.

Winfrey called the visit “the most anticipated music interview of the decade.” Houston, once one of the biggest stars in music, has been plagued by tabloid tales and a troubled marriage to Bobby Brown, which ended in divorce.

The Winfrey appearance is her first interview in nearly seven years. Her last, the memorable sit-down with Diane Sawyer on ABC in 2002, dealt with allegations of drug use and more. During that interview, Houston uttered the memorable line: “ We don’t do crack. We don’t do that. Crack is wack.” Houston’s CD “I Look to You” hits stores Aug. 31.
