Following last December’s initiation of the Face of Hope project in Abuja, an eviction process of the contestants began last Sunday.
The Face of Hope project is a volunteer-based non-profit, non-religious and non-political organisation that was established to give hope to the hopeless and help to the helpless, taking the less-privileged African children off the streets and providing them with free qualitative education.
The project is also working to rekindle the passion and love for the country, seeking to take poor kids off the streets and give them a new lease on life.
It was also started with the intention of giving educational opportunities to kids whose parents cannot afford to give them one. 25 scholarship opportunities are being given out weekly.
Whilst Omotola, Wande Coal, Yul Edochie, have been dropped from the list, Nkiru Sylvanus, Osita Iheme, Hauwa Maina, Rahmatu Hassan, Chioma Akpotha, Bob Manuel Udokwu and Gbenga Aruleba have made it to the top ten.

Nollywood actors, Francis Duru, Desmond Elliot as well as comedian AY, are among the top ten finalists in the Face of Hope contest for an ambassador to champion the campaign against child illiteracy in Nigeria and Africa.Following last December’s initiation of the Face of Hope project in Abuja, an eviction process of the contestants began last Sunday.
