This weekend’s action is headlined by Enyimba’s hosting of Niger Tornadoes at the Enyimba International Stadium Aba. Both sides are occupying towering positions on the league table.
While Enyimba who have 50 points from 27 matches are second on the table, Tornadoes are in the fifth position with 45 points from 29 matches.
Enyimba have put behind them the 0-3 loss in the CAF Confederation Cup at AS Vita Club of DR Congo last weekend to face actions in the Nigerian league with the target of returning to the highest continental soccer competition next year.
Therefore the commercial city of Aba will witness fireworks and thrills tomorrow as the two-times CAF Champions League winners slug it out with Tornadoes in what promises to be the most exciting league duel in recent times.
A win for Enyimba will take them to the first spot, particularly if current leaders Kano Pillars fail to edge past visiting another CAF Confederation campaigner Warri Wolves at the Sani Abacha Stadium.
On the other hand, Tornadoes’ chances of playing in the continent next year will receive a boost if they overcome their hosts.

Kaduna United, who suffered one of the biggest losses in this year’s league, having lost 0-5 to Sharks of Port Harcourt, will apply all the arsenals in their armoury to snatch a win against Heartland who are equally not faring well in the local league.
Kaduna United must watch out for Heartland who has a more potent attack that can unleash mayhem on any opposing side in the league.
